The Chandler Unified School District is considered one of Arizona’s fastest growing districts, having seven new schools
for the last ten years. The Chandler School District is located in the southeastern part metropolitan area of Phoenix. Chandler aims to transform its approximate 23,000 k-12 students into responsible citizens and lifelong learners. Chandler prioritizes the integration of the technology in classrooms.
The district purchased LCD projectors for the teachers to supplement teaching with visuals and to inspire creativity, imagination as well as to enhance the student’s learning experience. The LCD projectors offer several features including simple one touch buttons and automatic correction for easy configuration, usage and correction. Teachers can also now freeze or zoom a portion of a presentation to give emphasis on important points to their students
. The projector’s monitor and audio output enables teaching using sound from external speakers and the external monitor to view the presentation projected on the screen while the teacher can focus on the class in front. The teachers at Chandler reported that they are now well organized for they can now give instructions, review it in class, and move the digital presentations in order to print them. The Chandler student’s are now more attentive especially in attendance reports and administrative tasks. |
